Mission 1.  Asset-Based Approach.  At the Impact Conference here in Little Rock, AR we’ve met lots of promising young service leaders from around the country.  We’ve also invited them to complete some “Missions” while they’re here at the conference.  The first “Mission” is to take a picture of someone who they consider to be a leader, and write what leadership qualities that he/she admires in that person.  Nicole Brinkman, from Lyon College, has been the first (of hopefully many) to accept the challenge.  She took a picture of her fellow conference-goer, Maci Powers: She is a leader, because she is involved in many organizations where she is innovative and willing to come up with new ways to improve our community. Maci excels in her academics at Lyon College while helping others realize their potential.
